The importance of audio as media to be designed, produced and distributed, is in part due to it’s impact in video. In video designed for learning, in almost all cases, the audio track is a most important element. Get it right and it flows by while the words spoken enhance learning without being noticed. Get it wrong and the video quickly becomes unwatchable as poor-quality audio irritates viewers into tuning out.
We will learn the theory and research behind audio used alone and with text or pictures, as well as the technical aspects of creating, editing and distributing audio.
